its not anime or manga, but most asian dramas are live actions of anime/manga. Just wondering how any of you watch this stuff...

a few personal favs:
Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2 (japanese)
Zettai Kareshi/absolute boyfriend (japanese)
Hana Kimi (japanese)
Coffee prince (korean)
Romantic princess (taiwanese)

Nope never heard of any of that. But I would consider The Count of Monte Cristo: Gankutsuo and Death Note to be dramas, especially the first.

Yeah I own the first two on DVD haha. They aren't the exact same as the anime, but they're nice for people that don't want to read the manga or watch the whole anime, but still want the excellent story. I'm so glad the english dubbed version has the same voice actors as the anime. Apparently there is going to be an americanized live action version. And Zach Effron has been considered for the part of Light Yagami. At first I thought it was a terrible idea, but the kid looks a lot like light, and he's really not a bad actor. He's also got that good boy vibe that light puts out to other characters, and Effron has said before in interviews that he's a huge anime/manga fan and Death Note and Dragon Ball are two of his favorites....so hopefully he'll know how to portray Light. I just hope the American version doesn't end up sucking....(yeah right).

I've watched all of thosee~ Well, I never finished romantic princess... I got to like literally the last episode and stopped cause i got so sick of it. But i didn't know that was from a manga/anime. Have u seen the movie for HYD? I loved it<33 and was sooo sad to see it end T_T.. A few new ones that were pretty good are Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Tokujo Kabachi! & Otomen~ There's a few more... but I cant think of them off the top of my head >___<

Coffee Prince is good. You should give it a try. and HAHAHa Yamato Nadeshiko gets better later on.. it really depends though.. have u seen the anime/read the manga? Cause that'll probably make a difference.. and HAHa yeah.. after I joined a clan.. my time spend on dramas/animes/manga have diminished T_T...
